about marta

my Mission

To provide clients with both an overview of the market and in-depth analysis specific to their home and needs.

To provide choices, walking clients through various options and potential outcomes based on varying factors.

To remain knowledgeable about market trends, marketing and negotiating techniques, and current technologies.

To give clients a greater level of comfort in a stressful time by providing the service they need, keeping communication open, and follow up, lots of follow up.

Let’s face it, for the vast majority of us, our homes are our largest investment. According to NAR, the National Association of Realtors, the average American stays in their home for 14 years. Will you remember all the details involved to execute a home sale or purchase? I can help guide you through all the scenarios so you can continue to concentrate on your life!

Extraordinary Experiences

Over 24 years in Real Estate…

I tell all of my clients, whether $500,000 or $5,000,000, there are pros and cons to every home. With the many transactions in which I’ve been fortunate to participate, I can honestly say they have each been unique. Guiding clients around potential pitfalls is a huge part of the value in working with a Realtor. I think in terms of worst case scenario to be as prepared as possible for the challenges that pop up.

Core Values

These are the fundamental beliefs of a person or organization. These guiding principles dictate behavior and can help you decide with whom you’d want to do business.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

The short but sweet version…

With over 24 years of experience, I’ve been able to serve my clients in so many ways. Some are first-time buyers while others have bought and sold several homes with me. New construction or tear-down, I’ve worked with builders and developers as well. How may I help you?

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in French and German from Fordham University and speak Hungarian fluently. I tell everyone I’m a newcomer to Greenwich since I’ve only lived here since 1987. Most of my friends have been in town for generations! I grew up in neighboring Westchester County.

Not to bore you but...

Raising four kids taught me that flexibility and a good sense of humor can help in any situation! It also gave me great exposure to the excellent Greenwich Public Schools both as a parent and as a volunteer in many roles.  From nursery schools through after school activities, the varied needs and interests of my kids made me appreciate all that the town and area has to offer.

Being involved, from design to finish, on several renovations of my own home gave me great insight into what it takes to make a house work. Although I know to defer to the various experts in their fields, I also know what to look for and what questions to ask when looking at a property.

Experience, drive, education, heart, and a specialization in technology…

all the reasons Marta is consistently one of the top Greenwich Realtors.

Whether selling or buying a home, Marta Stroll is your consummate real estate professional.

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN TO YOU?

It means you’ll get the services of an accredited, dedicated professional or, as one of Marta’s clients stated, “You’re really into what you’re doing!”

CIPS

CIPS – Certified International Property Specialist – A global professional who has undergone specialized training focused on conducting business in the international real estate arena. The CIPS designation is the only international designation recognized by the National Association of Realtors. Only Realtors who have completed extensive coursework and demonstrated considerable experience in international business are awarded this prestigious designation. Marta is past President of the Greenwich Realtors International Committee.

CRS – Certified Residential Specialist – The highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers and brokers. Members who have met certain educational and professional requirements are eligible to apply for this designation. The CRS designation signals to consumers and other real estate professionals that they are one of the best of the best. Annually, Certified Residential Specialists complete nearly twice as many transactions each year. Out of more than 1 million Realtors, less than 3% are Certified Residential Specialists.

CLHM – Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist – The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing exists to help buyers and sellers of luxury homes and estates find real estate professionals who specialize in the luxury home market and have completed extensive training to build additional competencies. Members of The Institute actively seek out the latest information in marketing strategies, stay on top of changing market conditions, and know how to handle the special needs of an elite clientele and their exceptional properties. GRIGRI – Graduate Realtor Institute – A professional designation requiring the completion of graduate level coursework. The GRI designation is obtained by attending a specific, intensive series of a minimum of 90 hours of classroom instruction, covering subjects in contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance, and risk reduction. The subject matter has been chosen to educate practitioners about local, state and national real estate practices that affect them, their clients and customers. GRI courses are taught by leading real estate professionals from around the country.

SRESSRES – Seniors Real Estate Specialist – A Seniors Real Estate Specialist is experienced and knowledgeable in meeting your specific needs. And that can make all the difference in the world. As we age, we demand specialists in our health needs, so why not in our housing and equity needs as well? An SRES brings:

  • A customized approach to your situation; an SRES works with how your living situation fits into your overall plan.
  • Expertise and patience without condescension.
  • An awareness of options and solid, reliable referrals for specific situations to explore those options.
  • A variety of choices to reduce out of pocket expenses, gain cash, or create or defer income streams to either stay independent or finance assistance.

ePro – The official certification program offered by the National Association of Realtors for proficiency in the use of technology. A continuing dedication to ever-evolving changes in technology both in communication, marketing or information is important to have the tools necessary to stay in touch with and, often, ahead of the market. This is only achieved with relentless pursuit of what’s next.
