Really, Greenwich is a diverse community with something for everyone. But nothing fits in with the image of affluence more than a visit to the polo grounds. Seriously, get everyone in the car, bring the lawn chairs, and go at least once. The horses are magnificent, the champagne does flow, and the people watching is a hoot!

I will say but ONE thing here…GO EARLY! While there’s a lot of great food and adult beverage available, the sheer number of people that descend on this event makes it impossible for the vendors to keep up. The run out of supplies rather early. The night time entertainment is worth hanging around for. They’ve had everyone from Alabama to Ziggy Marly.
